Did you watch it?
Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of talking with Luca Zambello, the founder and CEO of Jurny, a software company on a mission to transform the hospitality industry using AI-enhanced automation.
(If you missed it, click on the image or HERE to replay.)
Short-term rentals and hotels spend over $1 trillion in operational costs, according to Luca. Until now, this has been a necessary “evil” of the industry because there are just so many moving parts: reservations, pricing, customer relationship management, check-in and check-out, maintenance, cleaning, and so on.
The AI-powered software that Jurny has created - and continues to finetune - automates all of those elements. This is set to help short-term rental companies and hotels make significant savings.
Jurny is currently doing a community fundraising round on WeFunder (check out their page here), which is why I brought him into the 360 room on Thursday, where he shared some exciting updates. These include:
The company will announce its fundraising close date this coming week. The clock is now ticking down before investors lose the chance to get in on this opportunity on the ground floor.
Jurny has created some big partnerships and signed on with some big clients, which they will be announcing soon.
They launched their premium model three months ago. Since then, they’ve tripled the number of users on their platform. In September alone, they closed $170,000 in ARR.
Profitability is now expected as early as mid-2024.
Look, the work Jurny is doing is outstanding. They are at the forefront of AI adoption and adaptation to a big niche.
In fact, for me, the most exciting part of their story is their growth trajectory in a massive market.
Airbnb, already one of Jurny’s partners, has more than 5 million hosts and 7 million units. As the company rolls out its AI automation software throughout the Airbnb ecosystem, it could result in hundreds of millions in ARR and position the company for a valuation in the billions.
And that’s just ONE of the big players in the hospitality industry. Really, Jurny has a whole blue sea to fish in and it’s doing a stellar job of infiltrating this space.
Perhaps the most exciting news Luca shared with me on Thursday was that the company has been prominently featured in a recently released industry annual report by Skift and McKinsey & Co.
The report, called "The Promise of Travel in the Age of AI," is one of the most important reports of the year in the entire travel industry! It’s summarized in the Wefunder update HERE – but this report covers cases and success stories that detail how AI technology is being used. Insights are drawn from interviews with executives at 17 companies across five types of travel businesses.
And check this out…
Jurny was featured alongside the likes of JetBlue, United Airlines, IHG, Accor, Booking Holdings, Expedia…
and many others of the same caliber as leaders in hospitality and AI.
This is, without a doubt, a company you need to check out. So take a look at their website. Review their Wefunder page. Do your due diligence.
Time is quickly running out on this opportunity as this Round is set to close in the near future.
Here’s to your success!
